Where: NICHES Crow’s Grove Preserve parking lot in Warren Co.

What: Since the peak falls at the start of the work week, we’re inviting you to enjoy the Perseid meteor shower a little early—Saturday night! While the full moon on August 9 will brighten the sky and will limit visibility, the Perseids rarely disappoint. You can still expect to see some bright meteors streaking across the night sky. There will be a designated viewing area starting at 10:00 PM. The walk from the parking lot to the designated viewing area is .25 to 1 mile on uneven terrain, so wear sturdy shoes and bring a flash light.
